Sir,

I am etc., to thank you for the

information contained in your letter of the

16th October and to inform you that the

matter of the arrangements made in Stanley

Interment Camp in regard to the celebration

and registration or marriages and the

registration or births and deaths will be

considered with the present Military and future

Vrter Civil authorities in Hong Kong.

In regard to the registration of

mariages it is understood from your letter

that a register of marriages was kept,

copies only of the entries being delivered

to the parties, whereas the procedure

prescribed in the relevant Hong Kong

/Ordinance
